FOOD HUNTING IN SHAH ALAM

Assalamualaikum and Hi Readers,

Ned again. Ya ampun, lamanya tak update blog. Well, everyone has their own business and mind your own one yeah! Busy belajar kan, you should understand what?

Okay, today nak share-share laa sikit about my experience pergi FOOD HUNTING dekat Shah Alam ni. Actually, since last week macam lapar, kebulur rasa nak tukar selera nak makan dekat luar campus pulak kan, so, I decided to go for food hunting ni. Eh, it is not really food hunting pun, sebabnya cuma kebetulan je kot.

The best part nak food hunting dekat UITM Shah Alam ni because semua tempat tu rasanya macam dekat-dekat je. Okay, siapa CAKE LOVERS? I am one of them laa. Biasanya orang pergi CAKE JALAN TIUNG kan? Hmmmm, actually for me, cake situ biasa je. Mahal em standard laa kan? Oh well, I dah discover one place which I think alaaaaaaaa nak pergi lagi sekali kalau ada time!
People, nama cafe ni SEPORA FRUITCAKE CAFE. Nah, tengok gambar ni:

Decoration cafe tip-top

Nyumssss

Kekonon nak berasa model promo laa sikit

Haaaaa apa macam ada brand tak? Oh, for sure laa ada. Cake dia sangat sedap especially fruitcake dia tau. Murah pun murah cuma RM 3 per slice tak silap and Choc Moist dia RM 6 per slice. Hello, kira murah lettu compared to other kedai cake! Air hot choc dia pun nyumsss delisioooooussssaaaaa!
Kedai SEPORA ni pun ada buat tempahan cake if you guys nak. Macam birthday cakes ke, wedding ke, goodies bags ke and macam macam lagi. Nak more details you can just follow their instagram account @sepora_cakes. Owner dia, Kak Lehan tu comel je dah laa baik pulak OMG for me, hish bestlah lepak-lepak after class dekat sini, Affordable laa for students yang tak berapa nak ada duit ni kan? GO AND TRY PEOPLE. Just WAZE je Sepora Fruitcake. It is located dekat ALAM AVENUE, SHAH ALAM. Alaaaa, students UiTM takkan tak tahu kot, kat PADANG JAWA tu. Sebelah AMAR AMRAN BOUTIQUE. Class buat cake pun ada girls! Check out yo.

ICE CREAM TIME

Okay, done with that. Ni haa ni haaa ada lagi sis nak share ni. Siapa suka makan ICE CREAM? Tak suka ke?
Wow, ruginya bro. Kalau lelaki baca ni mesti macam "eh, gediknya perempuan ni". And I DO NOT GIVE a Shit eh duuhhh -.-
Well, I just discover about POPS MALAYA AISKIM MALAYSIA ni. Actually, dari dulu dah ada and I have tried many times dah. And for me, sedap laa sebab ice cream ni dia buat sendiri ni and rasa dia KAW KAW punya. Flavors ada macam-macam and once you try, you will be addicted. Trust me, yo! I dah makan and kalau pergi SEKSYEN 7 depan UiTM tu, mesti cari vendor yang ada jual ICE CREAM ni. Setakat ni ada satu je yang sis jumpa. Depan laman seni SEK 7 tu, area KOPITIAM. Vendors kan sometimes ada jual HIPSTER FOODS AND DRINKS ni. Sometimes, tak masuk akal kan, kenapa mereka jual? But, belum cuba belum tahu rasa dia. Unique juga laa. Paling best LIME and DRAGON FRUIT nyums sedap! My best firend, Fadh suka sangat dapat makan for the first time. Layan jelaa dia pergi cari ice cream ni.

wow, look at the colours.

sis, Mida and Fadh (tengah makan dragon fruit)

DRINKS HIPSTER DRINKS

Cakap pasal Hipster Hipster ni, sis tak laa sehipster mereka semua yang Hijabbista ya. I am who I am now. Dah move on lama dah dari zaman sekolah zaman lepas tak ada in relationship ni. Urgh, sekali kena rasa menyesal sangat. Okay, dah dah tak mau emotional sangat. We have to be smart. Human ni ada emotional intelligence sendiri, so they should think wisely.

Cakap pasal drinks, depan AMAR AMRAN tu ada satu vendor tak ingat nama kedai apa, tapi boleh laa pergi check out any vendors dekat situ sebab drinks ni ada je dapat fridge mereka tu. Air ni, RM 2.50 je. Murah laa 250 ml. Sedap pun sedap. MilkShake namanya, Botol dia cute je kalau rasa rasa nak try tu boleh je beli. Flavors ada varieties like GREEN TEA, VANILLA, CAPPUCINO, LATTE and many more. Ini saja-saja laa kalau rasa nak tukar selera minum air baru kan. Asyik-asyik beli air dekat 7E tu je, meh laa try air macam ni jugak.

ISN'T THIS CUTE?

I think, that's it. I would love to share more, but my hand still in pain because I have just donated my blood two days ago. Still lengoh-lengoh. Maybe later, ya! Thanks for reading.

PUBLIC ADVOCACY first class experience

Assalamualaikum and Hi readers,

02.03.2016, Wednesday

It is my third day of classes since I came back to my college. It is fun and quite challenging days, I guess hahahaha. Alhamdulillah, I have entered all seven classes since Monday until today which is Wednesday.

What I can say is, fuhhhhhhhhh what a hectic week. (ceh, baru first week Ned lek lek). I have eight subjects for this semester which are:

a) Intercultural Communication
b) Emotional Intelligence
c) Communication Research
d) Qualitative Data Analysis
e) New Media
f) Industrial Relation
g) Public Advocacy
i) Arabic language

*All of those subjects you may learn only if you are taking Bachelor in Interpersonal Communication, UiTM Shah Alam.*

Aite, what I want to share today is about this subject which I think it is very interesting and fun for me in my first week here. It is PUBLIC ADVOCACY. This subject is a new subject for me. Madam Sharifah Yuliana teaches this subject and she is super duper awesome. (Bukan nak puji ke bodek ke, but it is true) Well, every lecturers has their own way on teaching and lecturing. But, I like her style, She did include both things, Islamic thoughts and Academic at the same time. That is good for us too. We can gain both knowledge at one time.

In our class today, she gave us some exposures on "What is Public Advocacy". We do have two ways communication which is required in our course too. What I can observe, my classmates are very active in her class. This is a positive sign. She said she would give only positive vibes and in shaa Allah that vibes we will adapt it in our daily life.

WHAT IS PUBLIC ADVOCACY TO YOU, NEDDDDD?

In my point of view, Public Advocacy like I said in the class just now was about persuading and also how the advocates create awareness towards the public and environment. I shall said it is actually hard to attract audiences if you do not have the skills in advocating. However, for me it is simple if you have your own strategies in persuading people. For instance, if me as the advocate I will come out with a good advertisements or some creativity through the social media to attract public's attention. If like nowadays, WIFI is everywhere. Oh, even in the public toilet also, there are WIFI provided. Therefore, through that way, public advocacy can easily be advocated to them. I have my own favorite advertisement in TV3 on "Texting while Driving". For me, it is a beneficial advocacy because drivers nowadays love to use their smartphones while they drive. It is wrong guys! Bare in mind, it may harm you.

Look! This is not a good example.
Other than that, there is some advertisement which I think it advocates the viewers so much which is on the topic of "Baby Dumping" and "Abortion". This is a serious case for me. Most of those people who did that in Malaysia are teenagers.WHY? Well, because there is lack of public advocacy they make. Okay, if there are various type of efforts advocates did, but still it is not strong enough to stop that kind of case from happening. Therefore, maybe new advocates need to find other ways or steps to figure it out.
Look!

Oh, not to forget, Public Advocacy usually been made by the advocates. But, sometimes public also can do this because the reason to make advocacy is to educate, inform and share to others on the topics that has been given. Public Advocacy not only can be made by the advocates, because parents, friends and governments also can be advocates. Parents they can teach their children at home and so do the others like friends and teachers. That is what I think on the definition of PUBLIC ADVOCACY, (Nedreme, 2016) hehehehe

We share many things in class today. The most interesting part that she has shared with us is on two verses in Al-Quran that touch on the payment that people will get back if the do good things in their life. It is from Surah Az-Zalzalah, verse 7 and 8:

"Maka barang sesiapa mengerjakan kebaikan seberat zarrah, nescaya dia akan melihat balasannya."

"Dan barang siapa mengerjakan kejahatan seberat zarrah, nescaya dia akan melihat balasannya."

I realized from this verse, as a human, we should do good deeds to others so in future we will get the payment or what I can say, like a reward. And if we do bad things, we also will be paid with those rewards too. So, the moral of the story is, we need to differentiate between good and bad things for ourselves.

Last but not least, before we ended our class just now, Madame Shayu asked us to give some reflections or any stories that we would lie to share.  And guess what, Ezza Asyraf who is my classmates, he did share a quote that I think it caught my attention. He said on something like this,

"We are alive, that's why we laugh" (Jaa, 2016)

To me, that quote means a lot because when I think logically, we couldn't laugh if we are dead right? So, it does make sense. Congrats Jaa, nice quotation!

Hmmmmmmmmm, thanks for reading today's story hehehehe. Well I shall have some rest then. Tomorrow I have one more class to go before I end up my first week there.

Now, I am in my 4th semester so, it means this is my final year as a Communication and Media Studies student. In shaa Allah,
My journey to Shah Alam is quite tough and hectic due to the roads and stuffs. It took me about four hours to reach here from my hometown. I drove all the way from Kuantan to Shah Alam because my dad wanted to train me to be familiar with the roads. I am so tired.

We started our journey at 11am on Saturday, 27th February and we reached here at 2.30pm. My dad had an appointment in Serdang so, after we had lunch, I straight away sent him to KTM Padang Jawa. And after that, I did register for my college. I am extremely excited to meet my college mates. For now, I think, my stories will begin tomorrow because our classes will start at 8am.

Bukit Panorama, Sungai Lembing Hiking Experiences

Assalamualaikum and good evening readers,

22 February 2016, Monday,

A proactive morning for me. I want to share with you some experiences during my hiking session with my so called "Best friend" since we were kids. She is Che Wan Farah Nurain. It was an unplanned hiking session though because she just asked me yesterday about her plan on hiking. So, at first I refused to join her because I did not make any fitness before this. Let's say if I know earlier, I probably will go and do some outdoor activities. But, it is fine, I managed to reach the top of Bukit Panorama, Sungai Lembing for the first time! And Farah did it too! Oh and so do, Syahmie (my new friend, who is Farah's partner anyway, opsss). Thanks for bringing us here ---- credit to Syahmie the driver. It was a great and tiring experiences.

Me, Farah and her partner

Aite. I will start my story.

They fetched me from home at 5.45am roughly and we straight away heading to Sungai Lembing because we wanted to see the sunrise. So, at about 6.15am, we reached Sungai Lembing's mosque to perform our Subh Prayer. Around, 6.30am, we started to hike. Fuhhh, quite a long journey to the top I guess. We stopped many times at the path before we reached there. Why? Oh, hahahaha it is because NO FITNESS yeah, that is the main reason ( for me). However, for me, Bukit Pelindung, Kuantan is more tougher than Panorama though! Because, there is no stairway until the top. It is all normal road which is soooo slippery.

So, after gone through the hardships, at 7. 15am roughly we managed to reach the top! Wow wow wow. SubhanAllah the first word I said when I stepped the last stairs up there. It was amazing and beautiful because all the way, I could not expect what will be the scenery from the top. And the best part was when I saw the clouds or what we can say "kabus" in Malay all over it.

Super amazing. It was a tiring morning but, I satisfied after I managed to see the sunrise at about 7.20a,m. Farah was super excited and she was very satisfied with her achievement to reach the top. Ehem, first timer and I understand her feelings. After that, we took so many pictures up there. And I, of course never missed to take some selfies.

Selfie!

One of my semester's mission is accomplished. Before this, my schoolmates who I can said The Rodong Boys (Adzim, Maja, Ole, Sam, Am, Faris Aiman, Hadi and Afiq) have made it to the top and so do I. But, they haven't reach yet to Pelindung like these girls have made it yeah. Take this challenge, boys!

Tina, Yana, Intan, __, and Mira

Oh my stories do not stop here anyway. After that, at 8.20am something, we went down and have some breakfast. Uuuuuuuuu, Farah wanted to eat "Roti Canai Telur" and we have it at a small "Warung" opoosite the Pasar Sungai Lembing. Lalalalala, then Syahmie brought us for a tour around Sungai Lembing. Quite some places he brought us (tour by car not walking, excuse me), like to the Muzium, T-Box, some rest houses and Time Capsule. Well, along the journey, I was wondering and we did some chit-chatting in the car, Sungai Lembing is like a ummm, what should I call? Zombie Village maybe? Oh, hahaha just kidding. It was soooooo silent and it was like, hey we could not see anyone along the road to the village. OMG! If people said it is a Zombie Place, I would believe it hahahahahaha. But anyway, it was nice and peaceful place.

I think that is all that I want to share on my hiking experiences in Sungai Lembing. If you have any questions or you want to share your views or experiences with me or to others, do comments and give some feedbacks. Do follow me on Instagram and Twitter accounts @nedreme too.

And here are some pictures that I have:

How to KIWI your BOOTS ?

Assalamualaikum and Evening readers,

It is Sunday and it is about a week left before my semester breaks end. Wow, super fast is it? But, I kind of missing my colleagues tho and the lectures probably. Aite, today I think I want to share with you on HOW TO SHINE YOUR BOOTS!

Hi, I am Ned's ugly boots!
*FLASHBACK*

It was back when I was in my first semester in University. Everyone has to take this so called "Curriculum" in University for the newbies. And so do I. Guess what was that curriculum I chose?
I couldn't believe it, I chose Kesatria Negara which one of uniform bodies in the University. Kesatria Negara's activities are like those armies. And, I ended up to be one of the Commander there. Urgh, what a tough life. I do not want to share about that "LIFE" here. I just want to share with you and especially my juniors on how to shine that Commanders' Boots!

In case you do not know what I meant by Commanders, here, a picture of me and friends:

Back, when I was in my first semester during degree

Place where we always come for training

Well, I am not as PRO as the other seniors because I am pretty sure they know how to do it better. However, I just want to share my knowledge and experience that I know.
It is quite simple actually, as I learnt those tactics from my previous seniors before. Credit to: KMdy Hazimah, KM Irawani, KMdy Amirel and many more. Thanks to them and now, I miss them already.

Enough with that.

Things that you might need:

1. Shoe's polish or (in Malaysia usually call it as KIWI)
2. Cotton
3. Water
You will need those stuffs up here :)

How To Shine your Boots?

1. You just need to put on all the shoe polish all over the boots like this :
( You can double it as much as you want to get a shiny look)
The more you put the shoe polish or KIWI, the shinier boots you will get.

Imagine you are drawing round shape all over the shoe.
2. Leave it for 2 minutes to let it dry.
3. After it is dry, take a new cotton and wet it a bit. And do it like Step 1.

4. Let it dry under the sun to get a shiny boots!

Fuh, there you go! I think you won't understand that clearly. Am I right? Maybe next update, I need to compile it with a full set video on how I polish my boots. But, it is okay, feel free to ask me if you want by following me Instagram and Twitter accounts @nedreme

Thanks for reading and have a good day. Share it too.

Detox Drinks DIY

Olla and Assalamualaikum readers,

Aite, today I'm going to share with you one recipe or should I call it as tips for a DETOX drinks?

Since I have shared a picture of my morning drinks in my personal Instagram account and people keep asking me how to do it, so I think I should share here to all of you too! Well, actually it is easy to do this because you can just check out Mr. GOOGLE by clicking that Google button (hahaha). But, mine is slightly different than the others "MAYBE" because I just DIY  it myself after my dady told me how to do it before. Anyway, you can just try it. If it is okay for you, then that is fine.

Detox drinks is actually good for your health. Why?

This is because it helps you to clean your body from toxic, burn your fats and many more benefits that you may get by detoxing your body. However, you need to work a bit on some exercises if you want to get an ideal body weight or shape. For me, I do not want to have a nice body shape but, I am trying to reduce my weight.

Let me share something, when I was in my high school, I gain to 70+ kg. Can you imagine how fat am I during that time? Now, I am grateful because I have archived my ideal body weight which is 53kg. I work hard on it. I jog and concern on my diets after I have graduated from high school. It does takes time to lose your weight. The most important thing is discipline yourself. Otherwise, you couldn't make your dreams come true. Oh, enough with that and now..

Here you go dear,

Things you need for making a Detox Drinks:

1. A glass or a jar or a bottle (if you want to make it in a large amount)
2. Water
3. Lemon
4. Mint leaves (or Pudina leaves)
5. Sodium Bicarbonate (just a pinch like you pinch a salt)

Steps:

1. Put the water into your glass.
2. Squeeze a slice of lemon (it depends on the quantity you want to do)
3. Add a pinch of Sodium Bicarbonate into the water.
4. Add on a few mint leaves into it and not to forget, stir it to get a gooooooood combination of Detox drinks.

Happy trying it on my daily Detox drinks and thank you for reading :)
Do not forget to share it too.
If you have any questions due to it, do follow my Instagram or Twitter accounts @nedreme
